Andrew Ungerleider

Andrew Ungerleider, founder of the Livingry Foundation, is a pioneer in sustainable business and green technology. With a lifelong passion for environmental innovation, he established Earthstone International, LLC, a patented eco-tech platform that transforms waste glass into building materials—reducing landfill waste and dependency on mined resources. It focused on developing and marketing products based on proprietary white foam glass technology. Their background reflects a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation across diverse sectors.

Prior to Earthstone International, Andrew founded Growstone, further expanding their involvement in sustainable product development. Growstone continues to develop new products and move into new markets by using patented technology and innovation. The company's horticulture, consumer and industrial product lines are expanding.

Under Ungerleider’s leadership, the Livingry Foundation has supported organizations such as Rainforest Action NetworkTides Foundation, and the Common Cause Education Fund, advancing environmental advocacy and systemic change.

Earlier in his career, Andrew founded Natural Nectar, where he spent from 1976 until 1993 working exclusively in the food industry. Natural Nectar offers a diverse range of high-quality natural products, including organic cookies, gluten-free snacks, and biodynamic foods. Their work history includes an emphasis on flavor, sustainability, and ecological practices.

In 1992, Andrew founded Emerald Forest, a line of haircare products that are vegan and sulfate-free. In addition, Andrew invented Yum Yum Mix Plant Food, a natural all-purpose fertilizer designed to enhance soil fertility and support robust plant growth. Perfect for all types of plants, this nutrient-rich mix promotes moisture retention and lush foliage without the use of harsh chemicals.

Andrew was also executive producer on Dying to Know: Ram Dass & Timothy Leary, directed by Gay Dillingham. It is an intimate portrait celebrating two very complex controversial characters in an epic friendship that shaped a generation. Andrew served as an executive producer for programs featuring Dr. Andrew Weil, including the series "Dr. Andrew Weil 8 Weeks to Optimum Health" and "Spontaneous Healing".

In 1992 Andrew ended up winning Entrepreneur of the Year, a huge honor given by conservative groups such as the Wall Street Journal, Ernst and Young, and Ronald Reagan.

Andrew is also the founder of X-zentreks Art Gallery in Santa Fe.

With a robust skill set that includes Business Innovation, Product Innovation, Documentaries, Magazines, Entrepreneurship and more. Based in Santa Fe, Andrew continues Fuller’s call for “design science revolution”—proving that entrepreneurship and ethics can coexist in service of our one shared planet.
